XL Classic Leather Apron – Deluxe Leather

Although this is called an XL leather apron, it is still one-size-fits-all; The main difference between this and the normal deluxe apron is the width of the apron; the extra material wraps around the torso more, offering more protection from messy work. This extra leather does make it suitable for those of a larger build, but it can be comfortably worn by anyone.

This leather apron comes with a neck-strap that you can adjust to change how high up the body the apron sits. Once set at the right height you can slip in and out of the leather apron with ease by simply passing the neck-strap over your head. There is also a waist-strap that can be tied round the front or back of the apron depending on your style preference.

The final touch of this leather apron is the large front pocket for stowing all your essentials, resulting in practical work wear you can count on for life. It’s the perfect solution for when two hands aren’t quite enough. Use it to temporarily set down your tools; store your mid-work snacks; rear a baby kangaroo – whatever you choose! If you find you need even more storage, you’re in luck: like all our leather aprons, the XL Classic Apron Deluxe has a towel strap that can be used to attach our leather tool pouch.

Like the rest of our deluxe range, we bring this full-grain leather in from a tannery in Italy. The hide is sourced from end-of-life dairy cows in the UK, Italy, and Northern Europe when they are eventually butchered for their meat; it’s hide that may otherwise go to waste. After the initial stage, we bring the new leather to our tannery in Waalwijk, the Netherlands and finish it using a unique process that leads to very high-quality premium leather. Then, we cure and treat this leather to make it highly resistant to cutting, staining, and marking, resulting in a highly protective apron that wears like cashmere and lasts you a lifetime.

Each of our leather aprons are made to order by hand so you can create your own personalised apron to make it unique to you. First, choose between any of our deluxe colours. We can then attach a metal tag with your name or company at the collar of the apron or engrave your name into the towel strap.

On top of this, we can engrave any pattern, logo, or name into the leather apron just for you, simply upload the image when you order to own a truly personalised apron – unlike any other in the world. To do this we burn the logo into top layer of leather on the tool pouch with a laser before painting it in the colour of your choosing, creating a beautiful finish.

Our leather aprons are extremely easy to clean. The leather that we use is tanned, cured, and coated with a special technique that renders it water and stain proof. Because of this coating, when your leather apron gets dirty you need only wipe it down with a soft cloth and lukewarm water – perhaps with some natural soap if it’s extremely soiled. If you want to keep it totally pristine, it’s a good idea to treat the leather with our leather conditioner once a month.
