Why is this apron cheaper than the other Stalwart  leather Aprons?

The compromise in not in the quality of our leather, we use the same quality leather as for our premium Stalwart range aprons.
A premium leather that is light and comfortable to wear all day, every day.
Due to it’s unique coating layer which is bespoke-made in our local tannery, this leather is very easy to clean and maintain.
Wine, fat, coffee, flour, literally anything you will throw at it will simply drip off and can be cleaned with a luke warm cloth and some soap.

Our premium apron collection is made out of one skin, and usually we can only make two aprons per skin.
As you can understand this leaves us with a lot of off cuts.
These off cuts are normally used for making our short waist aprons, Although the short aprons are not as popular as our full-length aprons, which made us think to do something about it!

Presenting our new Basic apron, which is made out of three parts instead of one.
These parts are stitched together with a very heavy-duty stitch, giving a detailed look to the apron.

Conclusion: Same leather, same durability, better for the environment, better for your pocket!
