A word about the responsibly sourced leather we use…
If there’s one thing that we stand for here at Stalwart Crafts, it’s genuine, lovingly handmade products which we make using sustainable raw materials. Our premium Italian leather is sourced from dairy cows which, when the time comes, are butchered for their meat, leaving the hides as a by-product. These skins are treated at our local tannery in Waalwijk, the Netherlands. It is here, over the past five years, that we have perfected a unique process, which ensures the leather has optimum thickness, weight and flexibility. And with its protective coating, we’re proud to say that when you order a leather product from us, you’ll have it for life!
